M.A.M Politechnic College

If you drive down the Main Road in Siruganur, you’ll see M.A.M Politechnic College. It’s right there in the Trichy 621105 area. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. The campus is practical. We have workshops where students spend a lot of time getting their hands dirty with tools and machines. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the practical classes are in full swing. People come from different parts of Trichy to study here. The staff mostly focus on showing the students how things actually work in the real world. We don’t spend all day just looking at textbooks. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the labs and the main building. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just have to deal with it. The local tea shops nearby see a lot of our students during break times. It’s a very straightforward environment. We don’t have marble floors or high-end lounge areas. It is a place for work and learning technical skills. The gates open early and we stay busy until the afternoon. Every year, a new batch comes in and an old one leaves. We just keep the wheels turning here in Siruganur, making sure the equipment is ready and the classrooms are open for whoever wants to learn a trade. It is a long day for everyone.
