Jayaram Rice Exports

Our setup is at 368/5 on the Main Road, over in Mandaiyur Salai, Mathur. It’s a good location for us because the road is wide enough for the big export containers to get in and out without getting stuck. We spend a lot of our time inspecting rice and making sure the packaging is strong enough for long journeys. It’s not just about the milling; there’s a lot of sorting and cleaning that happens in the back. The warehouse is a big, open space that stays surprisingly cool even when it’s scorching outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see us out on the floor checking the bags or talking to the truck drivers. It’s a bit of a messy business with all the husks and the dust, but we try to keep things organized so we don’t lose track of the orders. Mathur is a quiet enough place, but our corner stays busy with the loading and unloading. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the moisture levels are right and the weights are accurate. We’ve been doing this from Mandaiyur Salai for a while now, and we’ve just gotten into a rhythm that works for us. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing those trucks head out towards the port makes it worth it.
