Cauvery Oils And Foods is located on 3rd Main Road in Renga Nagar. If you walk down the road, you’ll see our door at number 32. It’s a decent-sized space where we keep all the food items and the different oils we stock. I usually start the morning by checking the inventory and seeing what we need to get more of. Renga Nagar is a nice area, fairly quiet compared to the main city parts. We have bags of rice stacked up against the wall and rows of bottles on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery guys arrive late, and we have to stay a bit longer to get everything put away properly. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most of the time. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here because they walk past every day on their way to work. The floor is made of grey tiles that we try to keep clean, but with all the heavy bags moving around, it’s a constant job. The 3rd Main Road gets some traffic in the afternoons, and you can hear the bikes zooming past while we work inside. We have a small desk in the corner where I handle the paperwork, though it’s usually buried under some receipts. It feels good to be part of the local community here. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the shop open for whoever needs us that day.
