C P Foods

Our shop, C P Foods, is at 52, South Car Street. It’s an old part of town, and the street gets very busy, especially during festival times when the processions go by. Being on South Car Street means we see a lot of different people every day. We handle food items, mostly things people need for their daily cooking. The building at number 52 has been there for a long time. It has high ceilings and stays relatively cool even in the summer heat. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It can get a bit cluttered inside because we try to stock as much as possible. Sometimes the delivery vans have trouble parking because the street is so narrow. We just carry the boxes by hand when that happens. We aren't interested in being a big supermarket. We like being a local spot where people can just pop in. We don't use any slick advertising. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. If someone needs something specific, we try to get it for them next time. It’s a simple way to run a business. We show up, we serve the customers, and we go home. There’s no corporate fluff here, just real people selling food to their neighbors on South Car Street.
