Boobalan Rice Mill

The machines at Boobalan Rice Mill start up early most days. We are located at 11/2 on Junction Road right in the College Nagar area. It gets quite dusty here with all the rice moving through but that is just how a mill is. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know the sound of our engines. Junction Road is always crowded with bikes and trucks so getting things in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a small space where we keep our books and take a break when we can. The floor is usually covered in husks and the air smells like raw grain. It is hard work but we are used to it by now. People from around College Nagar come by to ask about prices or just to see how the season is going. We don't spend money on big signs or shiny decorations because the work speaks for itself. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy and that slows everything down at the mill. We just keep the bags stacked high and wait for the loaders. Boobalan Rice Mill has always been a straightforward operation. We just focus on the grain and the machinery. It is loud and hot inside during the summer months but we keep moving regardless. It is just what we do here every day.
