Balaji Dhall Mill

We are located at 15C on Chinhilthamani Road over in Rajman Nagar. If you walk down the road you will hear the sound of the machines running at Balaji Dhall Mill before you even see the gate. It is a bit dusty because of all the grain and pulses we process every day but that is part of the job. We have been working out of this spot in Rajman Nagar for quite some time now. The building is not new and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but it stays cool inside even when it is hot outside. We spend most of our hours watching the bags get filled and weighed. It is a repetitive process but someone has to do it so people have food on their tables. Chinhilthamani Road gets a little narrow when the big trucks come in to pick up the loads so there is always a bit of shouting and directing traffic. We know most of the neighbors and we all look out for each other. Sometimes we sit on the wooden crates outside during our break just to get some air. The machinery needs a lot of grease and attention so there is always someone with oily hands walking around. It is a straightforward business and we do not try to make it seem like more than it is.
