Avighnaa Foods

We are located over at B63 in Dheeran Nagar, which is part of the Karumandapam area. It’s mostly a quiet spot, but inside our doors, it’s usually pretty hectic. Avighnaa Foods is where we spend our whole day dealing with ingredients and packing stuff up. You can usually smell whatever we are working on from the street if the wind is blowing the right way. It’s not a factory with robots; it’s just us doing things by hand mostly. We have a few big tables and some stoves, and there is always someone washing up in the back. The heat in the kitchen gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, so we take turns sitting near the door for some air. We started this because we wanted to do something local and it just grew from there. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say. We just make the food and hope people like it enough to come back. The walls have some marks from where the equipment bumped into them over time, and the floor is always being scrubbed. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours on our feet. Sometimes we get orders mixed up or the delivery is a bit late, but we always try to fix it. We’re just a small team trying to make a living in Trichy.
