Alankark N Lovely Apparel Private Limited

If you find yourself on Vandipettai Street in Manaparai, you’ll probably see our place at number 581/4. We’re right off Masthan Road. Trichy is a busy place, and Manaparai has its own rhythm that we’ve grown used to over the years. Alankark N Lovely Apparel is run by a small group of us who mostly just focus on the task at hand. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and try to stay productive. The street outside can get a bit cramped with all the bikes and people moving around, especially on market days. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. It’s mostly just the work floor and some storage space. Most of our neighbors are local shops and families who have been here as long as we have. We started out with just a few machines and a lot of questions, but we’ve figured things out as we went along. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside or check the stock until it comes back on. It’s just how things are here in this part of Tamil Nadu. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking important. We’re just here to handle the apparel side of things and make sure the orders get out when they’re supposed to. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough.
