Agn Coconut Products

We've been here at number 94 on Karur Main Road for a good while now. It’s mostly just us and the machines every morning. The road gets pretty busy with trucks passing by all day, so it can get noisy out front. We started Agn Coconut Products because there were just so many coconuts around here and it felt right to do something with them. My hands are usually covered in oil or dust by lunchtime. It is not some fancy factory, just a place where we get the work done. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a pain, but we just wait it out. Most of the guys who work here live just a few streets over, so we all know each other's families. We mostly deal with the local sellers who come by with their carts. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner with a lot of papers piled up. The roof leaks a bit when the monsoon hits hard, but we manage. You can smell the coconut from down the road before you even see the sign. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting sacks and moving things around, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the gate. That's pretty much how it goes here every day.
