Vkc Marbles

We are based out in Mundur, specifically in the Anjur area. Vkc Marbles isn't a place you'd find in a big shopping mall. It’s more of a functional yard where we keep our supplies. The area is a bit more open, which is good because we need the space for the marble slabs. They arrive on big trucks and we spend a lot of time just getting them off the trailers safely. It’s a slow process and you have to be patient. Most of the people who come here are from around Mundur or the neighboring villages. They know we have a variety of stones. We don't have any glossy brochures to give out. If you want to see what we have, you just have to walk around the stacks with us. The weather plays a big part in our day. If it’s too sunny, the glare off the white stone can be blinding. If it rains, the ground gets a bit muddy. We just deal with it. We’ve got a routine down now. We check the inventory, talk to the drivers, and help whoever walks in the gate. It’s a simple life running a marble yard. We aren't trying to be anything other than what we are—a place to get stone for your house. It works for us and it seems to work for the people around here. We just take it one day at a time.
