Sri Maheshwary Marbles & Granites

Our yard is right on N.H. 47 Road in Chirangara. If you're driving through Koratty, you've probably seen the stacks of stone sitting out front. Sri Maheshwary Marbles & Granites is a family-run thing we’ve been doing for years. We have been sitting here by the highway for a long time. It's a noisy spot with all the trucks going by, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We keep a variety of marble and granite slabs leaning against the yard walls. Some days it’s quiet, and other days we have three or four trucks trying to pull in at once. It gets a bit chaotic then. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the big shipments to helping a customer measure a small piece for a bathroom. We aren't big on fancy offices or slick talk. Most of the time, we're out in the sun or under the shed, showing people the veins in the marble. Sometimes the rain gets everything wet, and then you can really see the colors pop on the stone. That's actually the best time to look at it. We just try to keep things moving. We know the local builders and the families around Koratty. They stop by when they’re building a new house or fixing up an old one. We just show them what arrived last week and tell them how much it costs. It's pretty basic, really. Just a lot of heavy lifting.
