Novo Computers

Novo Computers is tucked inside the Aiswarya Arcade on Guruvayoor Road, right in the West Fort area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on right outside our windows. We’ve been in this arcade for a bit now, and our space is filled with the usual stuff you’d expect in a computer shop. There are stacks of printer paper, some routers sitting on the counter, and always at least three or four computers pulled apart on the worktable. We handle a mix of things, from helping students get their laptops ready for class to fixing office PCs that have seen too many years of use. It gets a little cramped when we have a lot of orders coming in, and the cooling fans from the machines can make it a bit noisy in here. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and maybe a few old posters. Our day usually starts with a pile of emails and a list of repairs to get through. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the West Fort neighborhood. They know they can just drop off their gear and we’ll get to it as soon as we can. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s what we know. The arcade is easy to find if you’re heading down the main road.
