Comptech

Comptech is located right by Calvary Junction on the road between Aranattukara and Poothole. It’s a spot where there is always a lot of traffic passing by, so it gets pretty noisy with the horns and the buses. We have been working out of this shop for a few years now. Inside, you’ll find a lot of old monitors, tangled cables, and parts spread out on the benches. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where every screw and screwdriver is located. Most of the time, we are hunched over a motherboard or trying to figure out why a laptop won’t boot up. People bring us their stuff when it breaks, often looking quite worried. We tell them we will see what we can do. There is no fancy waiting room here, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The light inside is a bit bright so we can see the small parts clearly. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we have to call and explain that the part hasn't arrived yet. That is just the nature of this job. We aren't a big chain, just a local repair shop trying to help people get back online. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
