We have been working out of the Meenu Mart Complex for a good while now. Our spot is at 10/1120, right in the heart of Wadakanchery. It is a pretty busy place most days. Being near the post office means there are always people moving around outside and plenty of noise from the street. We usually open up the doors early in the morning to get things ready. The first thing we do is get the fans going because it can get a bit stuffy in here. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. We have our desks pushed up against the walls and stacks of papers that we try to keep organized. It’s a practical space for us. We do not spend money on expensive rugs or modern art. We just need a place to sit and do our tasks. Sometimes the noise from the complex gets a bit loud, especially when there are deliveries being made downstairs. We have gotten used to the sound of the shutters opening and closing throughout the day. We know the other folks who work in the complex. Sometimes we stop and chat for a minute while getting water or heading out for a snack. It is a small community here in Wadakanchery. We like that we are easy to find for anyone who needs to drop something off. The building is showing its age a little, but it stays dry and it works. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes in.
