Codehalos Solutions (Opc) Private Limited operates from Edapparambath House on Ramnagar Third Street. It’s a quiet street in Punkunnam. The office is basically just a few rooms in the house that we converted into a workspace. It feels more like a home than a corporate building, which is fine by us. We have our computers set up and we spend the whole day writing code or talking about software stuff. There is a small garden outside that we look at when we need a break from the screens. We started this because we wanted to work on our own terms without having to commute to a big city every day. Being in Thrissur is nice because it’s a bit slower than the bigger hubs. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a little loud, but we don't mind much. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. It’s just us doing the work as it comes in. Most of our tools are just things we’ve picked up over the years. We keep the place fairly tidy, but there are always stacks of papers or old hardware lying around somewhere. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we do. We just keep our heads down and try to finish our tasks before the weekend starts and we go to see our families.
