Tesoro Event Planners

We are based out of a small office in Thiruvananthapuram, specifically at Tc12/179 in the Thekkummoodu area of Vanchiyor. It is a bit of a quiet corner, but we like it that way because it gives us some room to think. Working as Tesoro Event Planners means we are constantly on the move, though. One minute we are sitting at our desks in Vanchiyor making phone calls, and the next we are halfway across the city checking on a venue. The traffic around here can be a real headache, so we’ve learned to plan our days around the busiest hours. We don't have any flashy mission statements or corporate slogans hanging on the walls. Mostly, it’s just calendars marked up with ink and stacks of receipts that need sorting. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we often run into clients while we are out grabbing lunch. It is a hands-on kind of job where you have to be ready for anything to go wrong. If a vendor doesn't show up or a piece of equipment breaks, we just have to figure it out on the fly. It can be stressful, but there is something satisfying about seeing everything come together after weeks of worrying about the small details. We keep things pretty simple and just try to be practical about what can actually be done within a budget without promising more than we can handle.
