Spicehutt Foods Private Limited

Our business, Spicehutt Foods Private Limited, operates out of Thottathil House. We are located in Pongummoodu, right near the Medical College P O. It’s a busy part of town because of all the students and hospital staff moving around all day. We’ve set up our workspace here because it’s where we live and know the people. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a regular house that we’ve adapted for our food business. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of food products and getting them ready for whoever needs them. There are only a few of us working here, so it stays pretty quiet inside even when the street outside is noisy. We don't have a big sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just come to the door and find us working. It’s a very hands-on way to run a company. We handle the packing and the paperwork ourselves. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big delivery comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We aren't trying to be the biggest food company in the state. We just want to keep things moving and make sure our orders are filled. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a practical location for us. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they are already in the Pongummoodu area or know someone who uses our products.
