Cafe M2

Cafe M2 is tucked away in the Technopark Campus in Karyavattom. We are right near the M Squared Building, so we get a lot of the tech crowd coming in for their lunches and breaks. It is a big campus and sometimes it feels like a city of its own. We started this place because we saw how busy everyone was and figured they needed somewhere to just sit for a minute without thinking about code or meetings. The heat in Thiruvananthapuram can be pretty intense, so we try to keep the place cool. It is a basic setup with simple tables and we don't do anything too complicated with the food. Most of the time it is just a rush during the afternoon and then it gets quiet again. We have gotten to know a lot of the people who work in the nearby buildings. They tell us about their projects and we just listen while we prep the next order. It is a regular job for us. We clean up, we cook, and we wait for the next shift to arrive. Being near the M Squared Building means we are easy to find if you are already on campus. It is just a practical spot for the people who spend their whole day at Technopark and need a break.
