Emperor Springs

You can find Emperor Springs over in Lakshmi Nagar, near Thekkevila. The address is a bit long, Sinai Villa-111/52A/2066, Lakshmi Nagar 207 A, but most locals know the area well enough if they need us. We make springs of all sorts. It’s one of those things people don't think about until they need one for a machine or a door. We’ve got coils of wire and various machines for bending and heat-treating them. It can get pretty warm in the workspace, especially during the summer months when the ovens are on. We started this because we knew how to work with metal. It’s not a complicated story. We just saw a need for springs around here and decided to fill it ourselves. Every day is a bit different depending on what size or tension someone needs. Sometimes we’re making tiny ones for small gadgets, other times it’s much larger stuff for vehicles or industrial use. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we get things done. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work, mostly to drown out the sound of the metal clanging. We’ve had some of the same people working here for years now. We know our regulars by their first names. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the quality of the metal and making sure the tension is right on every piece we send out for people who depend on us.
