Our college is located in Kattakkada, which is a bit of a drive away from the main Thiruvananthapuram city center. Pushpageeth College Fpr Teacher Education is the place where people come when they have decided they want to become teachers themselves. It is a very green area with a lot of trees and plants around the property. We spend our days preparing the next generation to go out and work in schools. It is not an easy job by any means, and the amount of paperwork we have to handle can get a bit overwhelming sometimes. We have several rooms for lectures and a library that stays pretty quiet most of the time. The staff here is mostly made up of local people who have lived in Kerala their whole lives. We talk to each other in the hallways about our families or whatever is happening in the local news that morning. The weather here is mostly either very rainy or very sunny, so we are always checking the roof for any new leaks or making sure there are enough umbrellas kept by the front door. We do not have any flashy signs or big advertisements to pull people in. Most of the students find out about us through simple word of mouth from their neighbors. It is a simple life here in Kattakkada. We focus on following the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on the right dates. There is a certain rhythm to the year, starting with the new admissions and ending with the final tests. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is an honest way to spend the day.
