Prasanthi Institution

Our place is right on Police Station Road in Karamana. It is a busy part of Thiruvananthapuram, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. You can hear sirens and buses all day long while we are inside. Prasanthi Institution has been sitting here for quite some time now. We are not a huge campus with gardens, but we make use of the space we have. The building has a few floors and the stairs are a bit narrow. Most of us who work here have gotten used to the hustle of the city. We see the same faces every morning coming through the gates. It is a mix of people from different parts of town. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just a school. We show up, we teach, and we help the kids understand their books. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise and the walls could use some fresh paint, but the classrooms are always full. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit chaotic during lunch hours. Being near the police station means we are easy to find. Most local people just point toward the station if someone asks for directions. It is a practical spot for a school. We just keep going day by day, making sure the bells ring on time.
