Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

Right now we are stationed over at the Govt. Medical College Campus for this project. Working for Larsen & Toubro Ltd. usually means being on big sites like this one. There is a lot of activity every day with trucks coming in with loads of sand and bricks. We are part of the team that looks after the daily operations on the ground. The campus is a large area, and we have our temporary offices set up in some portable cabins. It is not like a regular office job because we are always walking around in boots and hard hats. The weather can be a bit of a problem when it rains because the whole place turns into a muddy mess, but we keep going. We don't have much time for sitting around. I usually spend my time checking on the workers and making sure we have enough materials for the next day. Being based at the Govt. Medical College Campus means we have to be careful not to disturb the hospital parts too much, which is a bit of a challenge with all the heavy machinery. It is a lot of responsibility to make sure everything is built right. The days are long, starting at dawn and sometimes going late into the evening when there is a concrete pour. It is hard work, and the surroundings are mostly scaffolding and half-finished walls, but it is what we do. No one here is worried about being fancy, we just want to get the job finished properly.
