This branch is out on Poovar Neyyattinkara Road, specifically at 584-K in Swadeshabhimani Nagar. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic moving toward Poovar. Working at L&T in this location means we’re often dealing with the logistics of projects happening nearby. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to sites. We spend a lot of time on our phones or looking at maps. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, especially when the power flickers, but we’ve got fans to keep us going. Most of us live nearby, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic when it gets bad. It’s a practical kind of place. You’ll see boots kicked off near the door and stacks of papers on every desk. We don’t have much time for decoration or making things look pretty. We’re focused on the tasks at hand and getting through the day's schedule. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we all go around four o'clock. Swadeshabhimani Nagar is a growing area, so things are always changing around us. It feels good to be part of the activity on this side of town. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else.
