TC 4/165. This part of Trivandrum is quite nice. We are in the Ambalanagar Extension Colony, which is right behind Kowdiar. It’s very green here compared to the city center. When it rains, which is often, you can hear it drumming on the roof. We have this building where we do our work. It’s got that old Kerala style feel to it, even if it's not very old. We keep the windows open mostly to let the breeze in. There are a lot of coconut trees around us. The office itself is just a few rooms with desks. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of us walk to work or take the bus since the stop isn't too far. It’s a peaceful area. You don't hear much traffic, just the birds and the occasional scooter. We’ve got some stacks of paperwork on the shelves that have been there for months. It’s not a place with shiny furniture. We just use what we have. Sometimes we sit on the porch during breaks. People in the colony are friendly and mostly keep to themselves. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the Kowdiar post office. It’s a simple setup, nothing more than that. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home when the lights start coming on in the street. It’s a good place to be based in Kerala.
