Kims College Of Nursing

Kims College Of Nursing is tucked away in Anayara which is a part of Thiruvananthapuram. We are right there near the main hospital grounds. It is a very green area which is typical for Kerala especially when the monsoon hits and everything gets soaked for weeks. The college building itself is pretty sturdy and painted a simple color. Inside you will find students in their uniforms always looking a bit tired but kept busy with their long shifts. We do not have much room for fancy extras or lounges. The classrooms are filled with skeletons for anatomy lessons and rows of desks that have seen better days over the years. It is a serious place because nursing is not something you can take lightly or do halfway. There is a lot of tea drinking in the staff room between the lectures. We have a small canteen that serves basic rice and curry which is where everyone gathers when they have a free minute. The walk from the main gate to the nursing block is a bit long especially in the midday heat. We do not have a big PR department telling people how great we are or anything. People just come here because they know we have been around this part of 695102 for a long time. It is a place for hard work and training the next generation of nurses. The local families trust us to do a good job with their children.
