Government Medical College

If you know the Ulloor - Akkulam Road, then you know where Government Medical College is. You'll find us situated right near the Sat Hospital Medical College Junction. It’s one of those places that never really sleeps. Even at three in the morning, there’s usually someone around. The junction outside is always a bit of a mess with cars and buses, which makes getting to work an adventure sometimes. Inside, it’s a mix of students learning the ropes and doctors dealing with a lot of patients. It’s a big, sprawling place, so it’s easy to get a bit lost if you aren’t used to the layout. The halls are wide but they get crowded fast. We have a lot of history here, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint in some spots. It’s a public institution, so we see everyone from every walk of life. It’s honest work, even if it’s tiring. You see the students sitting on the benches outside during their breaks, usually looking a bit stressed about their exams. We just try to keep the place functioning so the doctors can do what they need to do. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between departments. It’s just how life is at this end of the Ulloor - Akkulam Road. There's always someone asking for directions to the different wards.
