Government Medical College

Down here at Government Medical College on Gh Road, things stay pretty hectic from early morning until late at night. We’re right at the spot where N Pradhaksanam Road meets Gh Road, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. If you work here or study here, you just learn to ignore the horns. The building has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. It’s a government place, so it’s always full. You see families waiting in the halls and students carrying heavy books everywhere they go. It’s not the quietest place to be, but it’s where the work gets done. Sometimes the elevators are slow, and you end up taking the stairs just to save time. The staff here are usually busy with ten things at once. We don't have much time for small talk, but people still manage to say hello in the corridors. It’s a practical kind of place. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Some days are harder than others, especially when it's hot outside and the fans are working overtime. But that’s just how it goes at a public hospital and college like this. We are just a bunch of people trying to keep things running on this corner of the city. There's always a bit of tea spilled in the breakroom and someone looking for a lost file.
