We operate out of 32 Sarangapani Sannithi Street. It’s a well-known spot in the neighborhood, right near the temple area. Being on this street means there is always something going on outside, whether it’s a festival or just the usual daily commute. We do trading and exports, which sounds a lot more complicated than it feels most days. Mostly, it’s about making sure things get from point A to point B without any trouble. Our office is on the ground floor of an old building. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. We spend a lot of time checking lists and talking to shipping agents. It’s not a flashy job, but it keeps us busy. We have a small team here at Sangu. We aren't big on meetings or corporate strategies; we just look at what needs to be shipped today and we get it done. Sometimes there are delays at the port or issues with the paperwork, and those are the days we end up staying late. We like being part of the community on Sarangapani Sannithi Street. You can get a good meal nearby and everyone says hello when you walk to the corner. It’s a decent way to earn a living, even with the long hours and the humidity we deal with here.
