Muthu Marine Products

Muthu Marine Products is located at No. 151 Kamaraj Road. If you walk by, you can usually tell we’re there. It’s a practical kind of place. We deal with marine stuff, so there’s a lot of ice, plastic crates, and water on the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes. We spend a lot of our time checking the weight of things and making sure the storage is cold enough. Kamaraj Road can be quite a mess with the traffic, especially when the big deliveries are coming in or going out. Most of the staff here have lived nearby for a long time, so we all know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just open up in the morning, see what the catch is, and get to work. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to sit and read the paper for a minute. The walls have a few stains from years of work, and the floors are concrete. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until late afternoon. We focus on getting things packed up right so they get to where they need to go without any trouble. It’s just how we’ve always done it here since the beginning. We don't plan on changing much.
