Stained Glass Lounge

You can find us over on Smt Gladys Alvares Road in Thane West. It’s a bit different from the usual stone shops because we work with glass. The "lounge" part of the name makes it sound fancier than it is, honestly. It’s mostly just a workspace where we have bits of colored glass everywhere. You have to be careful where you step. We spend a lot of time cutting and fitting pieces together. It’s slow work and can be pretty frustrating when a piece breaks at the last second. The light in the shop is okay, but we always wish for more. People walk in from the street because they see the colors in the window. We don’t have a big sales pitch. We just show them what we’re working on. Thane West is getting busier every day, and the road outside is always packed with cars. Sometimes we just sit and drink tea while looking at a new design. It’s a lot of manual labor, even if it looks delicate. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The neighbors know us as the glass people. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to finish the pieces on time and make sure they don't shatter before they get installed. It’s a quiet kind of life, mostly. We just focus on the workbench and the glass sheets leaning against the wall.
