Our office is at Anandi Niwas in Ekveera Colony, out in the Chikenghar area of Kalyan West. Dealing with ready-mix concrete means things are usually a bit messy and loud most of the time. It is a tough business to be in. We spend a lot of our day coordinating trucks and making sure the concrete mix is right for whatever building site we are sending it to. Our office is not anything special to look at; it is just a place where we keep the logs and take orders over the phone. Kalyan is a very busy place, and getting the concrete trucks through the heavy traffic is one of our biggest daily headaches. We have been working from this spot for a while now. Most people around Sagacha Wada know where we are located. It is a lot of phone calls and constantly checking the delivery schedules. We do not wear suits or ties here. It is mostly boots and jeans because we are often out where the dust and the work are happening. The weather affects us a lot; when it rains heavily, everything slows down or stops. We just try to keep the concrete moving and the customers sorted out. It is hard work, and the days can be very long. We are not a giant corporation with a shiny headquarters. We are just local people providing concrete for local buildings. It is a basic way to live.
