Maihar Cement Satna(M.P.)

You can find us right in front of the A.S.P Bungalow on Diversion Road in the Civil Line area of Satna. We have been here at Maihar Cement for quite a while now. Dealing with cement means everything stays a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep the floors. It’s just an industrial kind of job. We spend our time managing the inventory and talking to builders who need supplies for their local projects. The heavy trucks come in and out all day long, especially in the early mornings. It can get quite loud with the engines running right outside the window. We have a small office where we handle the invoices and talk to the drivers. It’s not a fancy place, just some old desks and chairs and a lot of paper logbooks. Sometimes the weather in Madhya Pradesh makes things difficult, like when the heavy rains come and we have to work fast to keep the bags dry. We all wear sturdy boots because of the rough terrain around here. It’s a basic business. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just make sure the cement gets to where it needs to go. Most of the staff are local guys from Satna who know the area inside out. We've seen the town grow a lot, and it’s nice to know we played a small part in the houses going up around here. It's just what we do.
