Cement Multinational

We are over in Thane, specifically in the ACC Residential Complex at S 5, Thakurdas House. Our office sits right opposite the Gyan Sadhna College on the Mental Hospital Road. It’s a busy area with students walking by and plenty of traffic heading towards the main parts of the city. Cement Multinational has been based in this spot for quite a while. The building itself has that older, sturdy feel you get with these company complexes. We spend our days managing accounts and talking to vendors. It gets quite lively around here when the college lets out, but inside we just focus on the ledgers. We have a few desks pushed together and a shelf full of old files that probably need sorting one day. There is no fancy lobby or a person in a uniform at the front. It is just us, doing the clerical work that keeps a big operation like this moving. The humid air of Thane means the fans are always on high, and we often have the windows cracked open to hear the sounds of the street. It’s a straightforward environment. We don't put on any acts; we just answer the phones, check the invoices, and make sure the cement orders are being tracked properly. It’s a routine we’ve perfected over many years of being in this same neighborhood. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
