Shk Technology

Shk Technology is located over at Number 7 in the Old Modella Industrial Estate. We are in Padwal Nagar, which is part of the Wagle Estate in Thane West. It’s an older part of the industrial area, so the buildings have a bit of character to them. We spend our days working on various technical bits and pieces. It’s not the kind of tech company you see in movies with beanbags and free snacks. Our space is full of cables, components, and tools. Sometimes it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The noise from the other units in the estate is constant, but it’s a working sound that we actually like. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the Thane traffic, but once we’re inside, we just focus on the projects. We have a few benches set up for assembly and testing. Usually, someone is humming a tune or there’s a radio playing softly in the background. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the things we build actually work properly. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a second to breathe. It’s a small operation, and everyone knows everyone else’s name. We’ve been in this spot for a while and don't see any reason to move. It’s practical and it suits the way we work. We keep the lights on late sometimes.
