If you find yourself wandering around Khopat and look for the Abhishek Hotel, you’ll see our spot just nearby at Ganatra Industrial Estate. We are up on the first floor in room 110. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or a big lobby. Usually, there are computer parts scattered on the main table and a couple of us hunched over motherboards with screwdrivers. We spend most of our day dealing with broken screens, slow hard drives, and people coming in wondering why their laptop won't turn on. The industrial estate is always noisy with other workshops, but we’ve gotten used to it. The fan in the corner rattles a bit when it’s on high, but it keeps the heat down during those long afternoons. People come up the stairs and usually find us drinking tea from the stall downstairs while waiting for a system to reboot. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting room with magazines, just a few plastic chairs. Sometimes we’re so deep in a repair that we don't hear the door right away. We just handle what comes in, from simple keyboard replacements to trying to recover data that someone thought was gone forever. It’s a lot of staring at wires and small screws that always seem to roll away. We’ve been here for a while now, and most folks in the area know us by name because we’re just around the corner.
