Purushottam Bawane Soft Drinks is located on the ground floor of the Nril Tech Wev Centre. If you know the New Link Road in Yogeshwari West, you’ve probably passed by our door plenty of times without even realizing it. It’s a busy area with a lot of traffic and people always rushing to the train or their jobs. We’ve been here in this building for some time now, just doing our thing with the drinks. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock and the boxes, but we make it work for us. We spend our mornings checking the local orders and making sure the small fridge is stocked for anyone who walks in off the street. The noise from the New Link Road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't some big corporate company with fancy office chairs. It’s just us in our regular clothes, moving boxes and talking to the delivery drivers who stop by to pick up crates. We have a few regular customers from the nearby tech offices who come in every afternoon when they need a break. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We keep the place open pretty late most nights of the week. It’s a lot of manual labor, like cleaning the counters and keeping track of the different flavors we keep in stock. We don't have a marketing team at all and we just do the work.
