Private Teaching Institutes

We've been running Private Teaching Institutes out of Malhar Lokpuram for a while now. It’s right off Pokhran Road 2 in Thane West, which is a busy area but our corner in the CHS is mostly quiet. We started because a few of us felt students needed a bit more attention than they get in huge batches elsewhere. It’s not fancy. We have desks, some whiteboards, and a lot of books piled up in the corners. On some days, it gets pretty loud when everyone is arguing over a math problem, but that’s how learning happens, I guess. We spend most of our afternoons here. My tea stays on the table until it’s cold because someone always has a question. The G3 unit isn't huge, but it fits what we need. Parents stop by to chat about their kids' grades, or just to say hello if they're passing by the society. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in Lokpuram. Sometimes the traffic on Pokhran Road makes it hard for kids to get here on time, so we end up staying late. It’s just how we do things here. We just show up, teach the subjects we know, and try to make sure the kids actually understand the material before they head home for dinner. It’s a simple setup, really.
