We are over at Pranjpe Udyog Bhavan, taking up offices 6, 7, and 8. It gets pretty busy around here, especially with Khandelwal Sweets right nearby. People usually find us by looking for Shiv Sagar Hotel first, since that’s the big landmark everyone knows in the Padavla area. Our day usually starts early, getting the rooms ready for whoever is coming in to study or listen to a lecture. It’s not a fancy place, just some desks and chairs and a lot of books piled up in the corners. You can hear the traffic from the road most of the time, and sometimes the smell of sweets from downstairs drifts up while we are working. We’ve been in Shapar for a while now, and most of the locals know where we are. Dealing with the paperwork for the exams takes up a lot of our afternoon. There is always someone coming in asking about dates or wanting to borrow a specific manual. We try to keep things organized, but with so many papers, it’s a bit of a struggle sometimes. The lights in the hallway flicker a bit, but we’re used to it. Usually, by the time the sun goes down, we’re just wrapping up the last few bits of filing. It’s a quiet life here, mostly focused on the books and the students who stop by after their other shifts. We just do our bit in this corner of Veraval. The parking outside is a bit of a nightmare on Mondays, but we managed to find a spot most days.
