Nexus Academy

Nexus Academy is located at 10/704 in Anand Vihar, which is in the Kharegaon area of Kalwa. We are right near the rail crossing, so we get to hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a sound you just get used to after a while. Being in Thane, especially near the crossing, means it’s always a bit hectic outside with people and rickshaws trying to get through. Our space is where the students come to learn and get their work done. It’s not a big university campus, just a straightforward place with some benches and boards. We spend our afternoons and evenings mostly with younger people who are trying to get ahead in their studies. There’s a lot of talking, explaining things, and the sound of pens on paper. We don't use any fancy high-tech gadgets if we don't have to; we just stick to the basics of teaching. The building, Anand Vihar, is a familiar spot for everyone around Kalwa, so it’s easy for the kids to find us. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when classes overlap, but we manage the space as best we can. We aren't here to be some big corporate school; we just want to help the locals understand their subjects better. It's a simple operation run by people who live right here in the community. We just keep showing up every day to help out.
