The Aatman Academy

The Aatman Academy is situated in Phase-1 of Thane West. It’s a part of the city that has seen a lot of development, but the academy stays pretty consistent. The building is functional and serves our needs without being overly grand. Inside, the rooms are laid out to accommodate the way we teach, which is a bit different from the big crowded schools you see elsewhere. The staff here are very involved in the day-to-day work, and you’ll often see them talking to students in the corridors or sitting together in the small office. We don't go for the polished, corporate look. There might be some scuffs on the walls or a desk that wobbles, but that’s just life. Thane West can be quite noisy, but we’ve managed to create a space where the kids can actually focus on their work. The schedule is kept simple so everyone knows where they need to be. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just show up, teach the kids, and go home. It’s an honest environment where the students feel like they belong. We have a small yard where the students can get some fresh air between their sessions. It’s a practical, local institution that has become a steady part of the Phase-1 community over the years for families looking for something a bit more personal.
