Poze (Swastik Subham International Ltd)

Our office is in Arkam Manzil, specifically on the second floor, right across from the Arkam Masjid in the Khadi Par area of Bhiwandi. It is a pretty busy part of Thane, and you can always hear the traffic and the noise from the market downstairs. We spend most of our days here surrounded by files and the usual office equipment. The building is not anything special to look at, just a regular concrete structure that has seen a lot of monsoons. Some of the windows do not close quite right, so we get a bit of a breeze and some dust from the street. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. We do not have a big sign or a fancy reception area. People just come in and find us at our desks. Being near the mosque means we hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to our work hours. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we talk about local stuff like the price of vegetables or the latest road repairs. It is a practical place to work and it suits us fine for what we do. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corners of the desks. It is just a normal local business doing its thing in a crowded part of the city.
