J. K. Brothers

J. K. Brothers is based in the Nandadeep Building, right at the Tilak Nagar Chowk on Kalyan Road. We are in the Dombivli (E) area of the Thane district. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so many files and papers everywhere. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. Most of the people who come to see us are from around the area or have been told about us by their friends. We don't really do much in the way of promotion; we just open the doors and get to work. Dealing with the daily business takes up most of our time. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to take the stairs, which can be a bit of a workout. We have a small team here and we all know each other's families. It's that kind of place. We drink tea several times a day and talk about the news while we handle our tasks. The Kalyan Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, but we are used to it by now. We just try to keep things moving and help out whoever walks through the door. It is not a fancy corporate setup, just a regular office where we do our daily business and talk to neighbors.
