Pearl International Education Centre

Our office is located right above the Viva Shopping Centre on Sri Prasta Road in Nalasaopara West. It's a busy area and the apartment building, Aster Apartment, can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the 701 A sign specifically. We spend most of our mornings sorting through papers and answering phone calls from students who are thinking about their next steps for school. Being an international education centre means we deal with a lot of different forms and requirements for various colleges. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at desks, surrounded by files and folders. The noise from the shopping centre below usually starts around mid-morning and stays until late. We see a lot of young people coming in with their parents, looking a bit nervous about exams or travel visas. It is a lot of explaining the same things over and over, but that is the job we do. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up waiting around with the neighbors. We don’t have a big corporate lobby, just a regular office space where we get things done. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we check the latest updates on university regulations. It's a pretty straightforward place to work. We try to keep the desk organized but with so many student files, it’s a constant battle. We’ve been in this part of Thane for a while.
