Nkt College Of Institute is right on Kharkar Ali Road in Thane West. Since we are in the heart of Thane, everything feels very fast and a bit crowded most of the time. The street outside is always busy with people going to the railway station or shopping in the local markets. Our building isn't very large, but we use every floor as best as we can. You can hear the city noise even from the classrooms, but you get used to the sounds after a few days. The stairs are narrow, and there is always a crowd of students moving up and down between their lectures. We handle a variety of courses here, so you see all kinds of people in the corridors. The staff office is usually packed with files and books, and there is always someone looking for a missing form or a signature. It is a very typical Thane atmosphere—busy, a bit humid, and always moving. We do not have a big campus with green grass; it is more of an urban setup where you step out of the door and you are right on the busy street. Students often grab a quick snack from the stalls nearby during their short lunch break. It is a practical place for people who live in the suburbs and need to get their education done without traveling too far away.
