Vaz Engineering Works

Vaz Engineering Works is located in Unit No. 9 over at Sheetal Industrial Estate on Navghar Road East. It’s a busy industrial park, and there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the air. We’ve been in this unit for a long time now. The walls are a bit stained from oil and smoke, but it’s a real workshop. We spend our days fixing things and making parts that people need for their own machines. Engineering is basically just solving puzzles with metal. Sometimes the solution is easy, and sometimes it takes us all day to figure out why a part isn't fitting right. We don't have a secretary or a lobby. You just walk into the shop and find one of us. We usually have grease on our clothes, so don't wear anything too nice if you come to visit. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things that others might just throw away. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know our way around a lathe and a welding torch. We’ve seen other shops come and go in Sheetal Industrial Estate, but we just keep doing our thing. Navghar Road can get pretty jammed up in the evenings, so we try to get our shipping done early. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy.
