G.S. Deogan Gears & Engineering Works

You can find us on the Kalyan-Ambernath Road, specifically on 'C' Block Road. We are right opposite the M.H. Water Suppliers and the Sona Mahal Society, so it is a pretty easy landmark for anyone looking for us. Our workshop focuses on gears and general engineering works. It is a noisy place, as you might expect with all the gear cutting and metalwork going on throughout the day. The shop stays busy, and there is usually a smell of machine oil in the air. We have been in this spot for a long time, and we have seen the road change quite a bit over the years. We aren't really the type to have a polished office or a clean floor. Most of our space is taken up by the lathes and the grinding machines we use. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for trucks to pull in, but we manage somehow. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything we produce is done right. There are no fancy mission statements on the walls here, just calendars and a few old tools hanging up. We are just a group of workers who know our way around a gear box. It is a tough job sometimes, but we like being part of the local industry here on the Ambernath side. It feels good to finish a difficult project.
