Nativesoil Naturalsprivate Limited is situated at the Atgaon Industrial Complex, which is in the Shahapur Taluka of Thane district. We are at Plot No 28. Even though we are in an industrial complex, our whole focus is on natural things and the soil. It’s a bit of a contrast, having big factories nearby while we work with natural products. The warehouse is a big open space where we keep all our supplies. It gets dusty and loud because of the other units around us, but it’s a good spot for logistics because we are close to the road and the highway. We aren't corporate people in suits. Most of the time we are wearing boots and moving boxes. We started this because we felt like the "natural" label was getting lost and we wanted to do it properly. It is a lot of trial and error. Some batches don't turn out right and we have to start over. It can be quite stressful when deadlines are coming up and the transport is late. But we like the work. Being out in Atgaon, away from the main rush of Thane city, gives us a bit of breathing room. We just focus on what we are making and try to make sure it’s decent enough for the people who buy it. It’s just a bunch of us trying to do something decent with the soil.
