Nutan Traders

Nutan Traders is based at 128, Shivji Market, which is right across from the main A.P.M.C. Market in Sector 19-D, Vashi. If you have ever been to the Vashi market area, you know it is basically a city within a city. Everything starts very early in the morning here. By the time most people are waking up, we have already been at the shop for hours, watching the trucks unload and the loaders moving heavy crates around. Our spot in Shivji Market is usually busy with people asking about prices or checking the quality of the goods we have that day. It is a loud environment with a lot of shouting and the constant sound of vehicles. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or carpets; it is just a concrete floor and shelves full of trading goods. We keep our ledgers by hand for the most part, writing down what comes in and what goes out. It is a very direct way of working. Sometimes we share a tea with the other traders nearby when things slow down in the afternoon. Being in Phase-II means we are right in the heart of the wholesale action. It can be exhausting with the heat and the constant movement, but it is the life of a trader. We just try to keep things honest and make sure our customers get what they paid for.
