Som Exporters

We've been operating Som Exporters out of Manpada in Thane for a while now. It's a busy part of Mumbai, and honestly, the traffic getting to our place can be a real headache sometimes, but we like it here. People always ask how we got started with exporting. It wasn't anything fancy, just a few of us wanting to move goods from one place to another without making it too complicated. We spend most of our days in the office or down at the docks checking on things. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. Being in Maharashtra gives us a good base. Some days the paperwork feels like it's never going to end, and other days everything just flows right. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. If you walk past our spot in Thane West, you might see us drinking tea outside or arguing over a delivery schedule. That's just how we do things. We focus on the practical side of shipping stuff out. It’s a lot of phone calls and making sure the trucks show up when they say they will. We’ve learned over the years that things rarely go perfectly, so we just deal with whatever comes up each morning. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We’re just local people trying to keep the business moving.
