Baneshwar Traders

Baneshwar Traders is located right in the middle of the action at P-18, A.P.M.C., Mkt-Ii, Phase-Ii in Vashi. If you’ve ever been to the APMC market, you know how crazy it gets. There are trucks everywhere, people shouting, and bags of produce being moved around at all hours. We are right in the thick of it. Our space is more like a warehouse with a small corner for a desk and a chair. It’s loud and dusty, but that’s the market life. We deal with trading goods, mostly bulk items that come in by the truckload. We spend our days talking to farmers and buyers, trying to get a fair price for everyone. It’s not a job for someone who likes to stay clean all day. We wear sturdy boots and don't worry about the dirt. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our business is done with a handshake and a lot of shouting over the noise of the market. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the long shifts. Sometimes we are here before the sun comes up to catch the first deliveries of the day. It’s exhausting but it’s what we know how to do. Vashi is a tough place to work, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep the goods moving and the accounts straight as best as we can.
